North of Subic, the Zambales coast is a weekend beach trip. The towns people book are San Antonio, San Narciso, and Iba, not the freeport.
Subic Bay has its own guide. This trip continues past Olongapo and up the coast, usually with one night by the water and a group large enough for a van.
VRM Mobility provides private, chauffeur-driven transportation from Metro Manila to Zambales. Whether you're planning a weekend with friends, a family stay, or a company beach trip, we can arrange a suitable vehicle based on your itinerary, passengers, and luggage.

Getting to Zambales from Metro Manila
The Zambales coast is northwest of Manila. The usual drive uses the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) toward Olongapo, then the coastal road north through San Antonio and on toward Iba.
This is a longer drive than Subic. Friday afternoons and holiday weekends are slower on NLEX and again on the coastal road, so a morning departure is the difference between an afternoon swim and a late check-in.
With a private vehicle and professional driver, the group can leave from one or more pickup points in Metro Manila and ride together, instead of meeting at a bus terminal.
For the freeport, marine park, and Olongapo, see Subic Bay and Olongapo.
Places to Visit in Zambales
Most weekend trips pick one stretch of coast and stay there. The coves north of San Antonio are reached by boat, so the road transfer ends at the departure point.
San Antonio and Pundaquit
San Antonio, and the boatmen at Pundaquit, are the usual base for Anawangin, Nagsasa, and the other coves. The vehicle takes you to the jump-off. The boat is booked locally and is separate from the transfer.
Tell us if the plan includes a boat, and leave time to meet it. A late arrival from Manila can miss the calmer morning crossing.
San Narciso
San Narciso is the next town up the coast, with beach resorts that guests can drive to directly. It suits a group that wants the sand without a boat ride.
Crystal Beach is one of the known stretches here. Confirm the resort entrance with us before the day of travel so the driver is not guessing the last turn.
Iba
Iba is the provincial capital, with a beach on the town side and resorts nearby. It is a straightforward overnight stop when the group wants one address rather than a cove.
The drive is longer than San Antonio. It is a better main destination than a same-day add-on.
A stop in Subic
Subic can be a meal or a short pause on the way north. It should not replace the beach town if the coast was the point of the weekend. Say so in the itinerary if you want the driver to stop.

Suggested Zambales Weekend
If you're planning a weekend from Metro Manila, here's a sample two-day itinerary for San Antonio. Iba uses the same shape with a longer drive on the first morning.
| Time | Activity |
|---|---|
| Day 1, early morning | Pickup from Metro Manila |
| Day 1, midday | Arrive in San Antonio |
| Day 1, afternoon | Beach time, or the boat to a cove |
| Day 1, evening | Overnight near the coast |
| Day 2, morning | Beach or a second swim |
| Day 2, midday | Depart for Metro Manila |
This is a sample itinerary only. Travel times, boat schedules, and resort check-in may vary. Boat fees are separate. Departure and return times should be adjusted according to your booking and traffic conditions.
A same-day return from the Zambales coast is a long day. Most groups stay at least one night.
Private Transportation to Zambales
VRM Mobility offers chauffeur-driven transportation for different travel requirements. Zambales is quoted as an out-of-town trip from Manila, driver included. Name the town so the hours match the drive.
Weekend Trips
Suitable for families, friends, and small groups planning one or two nights on the coast. The vehicle can stay with the group or return on a later day.
Group Transportation
Passenger vans, coasters, and buses can be arranged for groups leaving together from Metro Manila. Send the passenger count and the number of bags before the weekend so the right vehicle is reserved.
Overnight and Multi-Day Trips
For guests staying at a resort or joining a boat cove, we can arrange the schedule around check-in and the boat departure, including a return the next day.
Depending on the group size, arrangements may include SUVs, passenger vans, or larger vehicles.
Choosing the Right Vehicle
The right vehicle depends on your group size, luggage, and how many nights you are staying. Weekend groups often travel with more bags than a city day trip.
| Vehicle Category | Recommended For |
|---|---|
| Executive Cars | Individual travelers, couples, and business guests |
| SUVs | Families, private trips, and small groups |
| Luxury MPVs | Executive guests and private family travel |
| Passenger Vans | Families, friends, and small groups |
| Coasters and Buses | Larger groups and company weekends |
All vehicle bookings include a professional driver and are subject to availability.
For larger groups, let us know your passenger count and luggage requirements so we can recommend an appropriate vehicle arrangement.
